Improving Patient Care

Through Groundbreaking Research

We are advancing patient care right here in New York, through pharmacist-driven research. Our members are leading interprofessional, translational research efforts across New York so that we can provide better care for our patients. New York State ACCP’s members are answering important questions about how to increase access to naloxone, safely store and dispose of medications, expand treatment resources for patients with substance use disorders, improve antibiotic stewardship, and reduce medication-associated adverse events. We provide a number of funding opportunities to support the research of our members, including research grants and funding to support research presentations at national professional meetings. We also highlight our members’ research through poster and platform presentations at our annual meeting, alerts to our membership, and our Researcher of the Year award.
